Architecture and interiors in London. We keep what works and improve what doesn’t.

01Studio

Hue Studio is a collaborative practice in London, combining the architecture of Daniella Gross and Gavin Henneberry with the interiors expertise of Laura La Greca. We work on houses, shops and workplaces, from the first conversation to the finished building.

Hue is a London studio for architecture and interiors, designing new buildings, extensions, renovations and commercial fit-outs.

Architecture
& Interiors

Architecture, planning, technical design and interiors sit in one studio. Budget, programme and build are considered from day one, and clear drawings mean fewer surprises on site.

Directors

Hue is led by three directors with complementary strengths: planning and architecture from Grosbry Architecture Studio, and interiors from Laura La Greca’s studio.

  • Daniella Gross

    Director · Project Manager

Studied at Politecnico di Torino and the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Worked at Burckhardt+Partner in Zurich and PH+ Architects in London. Her work centres on contextual design and an honest use of materials.

  • Gavin Henneberry

    Director · Architect

Studied at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). Associate at Lynch Architects, then director at PH+ Architects, and teaches at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury. Interested in the threshold conditions in architecture.

  • Laura La Greca

    Director · Architect & interiors

ARB and OAR registered, with over ten years’ experience including Pentagram, PH+ Architects and Holland Harvey. Leads interiors, joinery, materials and furniture, working across London and Milan with her Italian eye for detail and craft.

How we work

Keep what works

Considered early

One studio

Most buildings already have something worth keeping: a window, a room’s proportions, a street’s rhythm. We start by finding it, then change only what needs changing.

Budget, programme and buildability are part of the brief from the first sketch, so the design we draw is a design that can be built and paid for.

Architecture, planning, technical drawings and interiors are handled in one studio, by the same people, from the first conversation to the finished building.

04Method

We look at the site, the brief, planning constraints and budget to test what is possible before any design work starts.

Early sketches, plans and massing options to agree the layout, scale and feel of the project with you.

We prepare the drawings and supporting documents, submit the application and deal with the local authority until a decision.

Detailed drawings and specifications that builders price from and build to, so there are fewer surprises on site.

Layouts, joinery, materials, lighting and finishes, designed alongside the architecture rather than added afterwards.

We visit site, answer the contractor’s questions and check the work through to handover.
